SWPL Product Add-Ons lets you offer an optional add-on product on WooCommerce variable product pages. When a customer selects a variation, a checkbox appears offering the matching variation of a companion product – tick it and both products go into the cart together, as separate line items.
You pick the add-on product and the attribute that pairs the two (for example a license-type or plan attribute). The plugin then matches tiers automatically: a customer choosing “Single” on the main product is offered the “Single” add-on variation, “Plus” is offered “Plus”, and so on. If no matching add-on variation exists for a selection, the checkbox is hidden for that choice.
Edit your variable product, open the Product Add-Ons tab, and set three things: the add-on product, the checkbox label (a placeholder inserts the add-on’s name), and the matching attribute. That is the whole setup.
Because the main product and the add-on are separate cart line items, stores using SWPL Licensing get a separate license key for each – no special cases.
